Counting cherry blossoms as they bloom.
Tear out your eyes,
You must do this by sense of smell.
In the summer heat women swoon.
They drop like flies,
And men as well.

Sometimes when I’m on the train I become filled with this almost overwhelming urge to become friends with everyone immediately around me. I hope that one day I do it.
My rose showed me a thorn today.
One tiny drop is all that came,
The tip no thicker than a hair.
Compare this to the knife I hide behind my back,
I conceal it well,
Sometimes I forget it’s there.

Picking berries from a holly bush,
The rotten ones lie forgotten,
Crushed beneath my leather boots.
I am careful to avoid the thorns,
But they prick my fingers still,
My blood stains these precious fruits
Though their colour is unchanged, Which hue is real?
The birds are thankful
For this pain I barely feel.
Moved by pity, a snake eats its own tail in the corner of a barley field.
It is almost dawn,
The sun bleeds with me

Three doors lie ahead.
Two lead to dying
Then mourning.
Dark and endless disturbance.
One leads to blue air and morning light,
My lungs improve with every breath.
I sit on a chair to see what happens next.
